Free public information sessions about glaucoma at the Jewish General Hospital
The Jewish General Hospital (JGH) invites the public to attend a special information session offered in an effort to increase awareness about glaucoma. The JGH will hold a free public information session in English to provide patients with an opportunity to interact with medical professionals and learn more about the disease that is called the “silent thief of sight”.

Jewish General Hospital supports National Suicide Prevention Week

Recent data demonstrates there are 1,100 cases of suicides in Quebec annually, an average of three per day. The Jewish General Hospital (JGH) wishes to reiterate the importance of preventing depression, the main risk factor for suicide, and to inform the public of the existence and availability of several sources of help in fighting suicide, as part of of the 22nd Suicide Prevention Week, February 5 to the 11.
